called to say they were calling from "Windows 7" and that they needed my password and other logon info with regard to a virus. Caller said his name was "Max" and refused to hang up the phone even though I told him I'd call the police to report them. What a bunch of idiots and a waste of breath

The phone caller was supposedly with "Windows Support Center", citing a call-back number 1 (905) 581-1787 and employee ID 488K6Q. The call was to inform me that my computer had a virus. I was instructed to connect remotely to www.support.me for them to complete a scan of my computer. At this point I ended the call.

Repeated calls (up to five or six times,) couple times in the middle of the night. Just a beep when answered.

At about 10:32am i heard the phone ring... so i ran and just before i picked it up they hung up so i pressed *10# and got this number. I thought i would go online and check if its a telemarketer or something... and discovered that MANY people are getting bothered by the same number.

they call, then hang up after about 5 seconds.

me and my friends have received calls from this number telling them and myself that i owe money for a payday loan that i never took out and if its not paid for they will press fraud charges against me and show up at my house they have all of my personal information say they have monitered my email accounts to prepare a case against me and i could loose state benefits and my license if i do not pay them 5843.47
